SC Performance LLC — Terms of Service

These Terms apply to services provided by SC Performance LLC, including mobile automotive repair, maintenance, diagnostics, aftermarket modification installation, performance upgrades, and related automotive services.

Estimates & Pricing

Quotes and estimates are based on the information available at the time they are provided. Final pricing may change if additional problems, required parts, unexpected labor, incorrect customer-provided information, or previously undisclosed vehicle modifications are discovered.

SC Performance LLC will make reasonable efforts to obtain customer approval before performing significant additional work beyond the agreed service.

Customer-Supplied Parts

Customers may be permitted to supply their own parts. The customer is responsible for ensuring customer-supplied parts are correct and compatible with their vehicle.

SC Performance LLC is not responsible for defects, premature failures, incorrect fitment, missing components, or manufacturer warranty issues involving customer-supplied parts.

Additional labor charges may apply if incorrect or incomplete parts require additional disassembly, reassembly, troubleshooting, or another appointment.

Aftermarket & Performance Modifications

Customers acknowledge that aftermarket or performance modifications may alter a vehicle's reliability, drivability, noise, emissions compliance, manufacturer warranty coverage, resale value, or other characteristics.

SC Performance LLC does not guarantee horsepower, performance gains, fuel economy improvements, or other results unless specifically stated in writing.

The vehicle owner is responsible for ensuring modifications comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Diagnostics

Diagnostic services identify problems based on available symptoms, testing, scan data, inspection, and other information available at the time of service.

Because vehicles can have multiple related or intermittent problems, a diagnostic service does not guarantee that additional issues will not be discovered after an initial repair.

Appointments & Deposits

Certain appointments may require a deposit before the appointment is confirmed. Deposit amounts may vary depending on the job, required supplies, specialty tools, parts, or time reserved.

Customers should provide at least 72 hours' notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in forfeiture of some or all of the deposit when disclosed as part of the booking terms.

Mobile Service

For mobile appointments, the customer is responsible for providing a reasonably safe and accessible location where the requested work can legally and safely be performed.

SC Performance LLC may postpone or decline work because of unsafe conditions, severe weather, insufficient working space, vehicle condition, property restrictions, or other circumstances that make the service unsafe or impractical.

Vehicle Authorization

By approving service, the customer confirms that they own the vehicle or have authorization from the vehicle owner to approve the requested work.

The customer authorizes SC Performance LLC to operate, start, move, inspect, scan, or road-test the vehicle when reasonably necessary to perform or verify the requested service.

Payment

Payment is due according to the terms agreed upon for the service. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the work.

Limitation of Responsibility

SC Performance LLC is responsible for performing agreed services with reasonable care. We are not responsible for unrelated pre-existing damage, undisclosed vehicle problems, failures caused by defective customer-supplied parts, or problems unrelated to the work performed.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Photos & Social Media

SC Performance LLC may ask permission to photograph completed work for portfolio, website, or social-media purposes. Personally identifying customer information, license plates, or other identifying information will not intentionally be published without permission.
